The British Columbia Association of Farmers’ Markets [www.bcfarmersmarket.org/] provides education and training to market managers, vendors and boards of directors.  It promotes farmers markets to the public in order “to ensure a secure food system, to reduce the carbon footprint and to ensure the viability of farming into the future.”
